Limiting whites to 110 IRE- Internal menu settings for original panasonic ag dvx 100
I am looking for information about internal menu settings for the first Panasonic ag-dvx 100 camera–I need to know if there are internal settings Beyond regular user settings that can Limit/ or “cap” the Whites for broadcast safe standards of 110 IRE. is there a ‘super secret’ internal menu that can be accessed?? I need to know if there is some way to limit hot whites as they come into the camera Besides bringing down the exposure for this camera.

Um- not really. And in 99% of normal shooting you shouldn’t need this. The way to limit highlights is proper exposure and lighting. What is the intended application?

DVX doesn’t have “white clip” settings, and the original DVX didn’t have a separate knee control.
There is a super-secret service menu you can get into, but I don’t remember the button-press combination and I don’t think there was anything in there that would let you control those type of features anyway.
