    I have search for this effect in long time now. How do I create a lightsaber clash effect in Vegas? You know when the lightsabers hit each other. ? I can’t find any tutorials about, so I hope You can help me..

    …I’ve done this working (mostly frame by frame) with the mask layer on the pan/crop window of your event… it is basically a combination of “drawing” and animating a mask (over the “fake” filmed lightsabers), glow, color, and blur effects …. maybe a google search for the tutorials can be more productive if I try to explain it srep by step…. at the end you can also add some lightsaber soundFX …the final result can be really amazing….

    I’m pretty sure I’ve done this in the past by using a lens flare effect (and maybe also glow and light rays) on the light saber track.
    You have to keyframe the effects to ramp up quickly right where the light saber hits something and then ramp down quickly.
