I am currently looking for the light saber v2 presets that were with the free tutorials, some of my A level students are undertaking a sci-fi spectacular and this preset would help them a great deal.

I would be grateful if you could let me know where I might be able to download them.

    Thank you very much

    Bryn

    Hi Bryn,

Man, I must have done the wrong A levels!

If you post your email address here (though disguised so you don’t get inundated with spam) I’ll send you a copy of the preset. We’re talking about Andrew Kramer’s preset, yes?

    Simon,

Not entirely sure if this will get to you as, I am a little confused by the forum system (slightly technophobic) but heres hoping.

Thanks for getting back to me, I would be very
grateful if you could send me the presets. (andrew Kramer)

The students will be grateful, the sci-fi film will
    also be grateful.

    Yours Sincerely

    Hi Bryn,

I’ve uploaded a zip file containing the two presets to yousendit.com. Just follow this link, download the folder, and extract to the presets folder in your AE directory.

    https://download.yousendit.com/B255581E7B4507F4

It will be active for the next 7 days.

Your students will, as you know, find everything they need to know about how to use the presets in Andrew’s tutorial, but I would remind them to make sure that the comp and layer motion blur switches are on, or the automatic blur calculations won’t work – assuming I’m not uniquely stupid, this is easy to forget.
