    perhaps i am missing something here but when i add a light layer to my comp i see nothing but the light handles…i have everything in 3d and have changed the color of the light as well as the back ground…any ideas

    If you’re saying you can’t see the light itself, that’s normal. AE lights aren’t visible unless apply Trapcode’s Lux plugin.

    If you’re saying the light doesn’t cast light on anything, you have to have a 3D layer in position to receive the light an have its “Accepts Lights” switch turned on.

    Other than that I don’t know what the problem could be.
