  • Library folder in Documents folder

Both my Macs have a new Library folder in the Documents folder. The size is 0 bytes and it’s not writeable. Creation date is March 4. I’ve checked around the internet and others have the same issue. This appears to be related to an Adobe CC update. One Mac is Catalina, the other is Big Sur. Anyone else seeing that? Remedies? Any problems in just leaving it alone?

Hey! Would you look at that! I’ve got one as well, dated March 5. It’s locked up. I’m not sure what it’s there for. I haven’t been on my work Mac much over the past year and just started getting in more over the last month. I’m on Catalina. You would think if it was Adobe, it would say it or be in the Adobe folder… I’ll probably just leave it, since it’s zero bytes. :/

My work iMac Pro has it, too. On that machine I had set everything on the internal to be writable by the main user. So on that machine, the folder isn’t locked. It contains a subfolder for named Logs, but it’s empty. On my home machine, I trashed this oddball Library folder, but it returned.

Forgive this post to an older thread, but I actually ran across this last week and came across an Adobe Help webpage dated toward the end of April that addresses this. So I’ll leave it here for anyone else that may run across this issue and has questions.
