I’m about to install an LHe into a new Mac Pro 3.0 with 4 GB of ram. I remember reading there was some conflict with more than 2 gigs of ram. Is this still the case? Should i take out 2 gigs? Tried to search for the posts about it but came up empty, also not sure if this was resolved with the recent 3.3 drivers.

    thanks, tim

Nope, AJA resolved this issue very quickly. ATTO is the lone holdout though I believe they have released some beta drivers for this. We’re running 4GB RAM in our Mac Pro right now with the Kona 3 and all is happy.

ATTO released v4.0 driver for UL5D to fix this issue about 3 weeks ago. But If you have ATTO fibre-channel controller, you must wail until they update v3.0 driver for Celerity FC host i/f.

There is a beta available of the 3.0 FC driver though not directly from ATTOs Web site. If you call their support number, they might send it to you.

Thanks all. No Atto cards here, so all is good. the cow rules.
