[Dave Beaty] “Is it possible to flash back to an ealier version of Kona software. I upgraded to 2.0.1. Now if I try to install 2.0 or before I get a “there is nothing to install” error.”

did you try doing an uninstall first? ( it is in the aja utilities folder)

NO software will allow you to install an older version over a newer one.

Yes, I did a complete uninstall. It may be that 2.0.1 upgrades the board firmware and going back to an earlier version is not possible?

Some installers have an optional key sequence that will allow a back slush of the firmware. I’m going to call TS today to see what’s up with my system as the audio output is bad. I may try some of the earlier installers. As it is now, only 2.0.1 will reinstall. (after an uninstall).

I had this after installing some versions of KonaLH software. A good round of permission repairs and preference trashing should help.

    Hi All,

I corresponded with AJA Support on this issue & here’s their reply:

“In regards to the driver install: Before you install any Kona driver, go to:/library/receipts and delete all the AJA Kona pkg files.”

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,
