  • Letter’s “T” render as funny shape

Hello, I recently made a video in sony vegas and a lot of the text used is always using the letter T. When editing everything appears to be fine, but when the video is rendered the T becomes an odd looking symbol.

and image of the problem is as follows:

as you can see , the top image shows what happens when the video is rendered, whereas the bottom image shows what it is like in the project.

Please can someone help as it has made my other video look pretty ugly!
    cheers –

    Alex still

What is the original Font size are you using and how much of the Frame are you using? Have you zoomed in? The “stepping” on the edges is indicative of zooming heavily in on a small font size. I’m guessing that that’s the same issue you’ve got with the T? Are you using Pan/Crop or Track Motion to zoom in?

    Grazie

I zoom in on the actual movie clip but i do not zoom in on the text. the font size throughout is 72, but i dont think ive had this problem before. i dont understand why the font would look great before it is rendered and then mess up when rendered 🙁
    appreciate your help though
