I shot a project in super 16, and transfered it to digibeta with a dvcom slave, both versions in anamorphic 16×9. I’m cutting with the dvcam footage for off line, then will online the digibeta. ONe question. Everyting works fine if I have a 16×9 monitor, but if I want to make a dvd screener from the offline, I can’t find a setting to letterbox it in a 4×3 frame. All I get is more squeezed and more squeezed. Anyone got an idea?

Import your 16×9 (1.2 Pixel Aspect Ratio) comp into a 4:3 (0.9 PAR) comp and reduce the footage size/scale by 75%. You will need to render to output but if your going to DVD your will need to render to MPEG-2 regardless.

    Cheers,
