  Letterbox?

  I shot 24pa widescreen video 1.2 aspect. I need to make a letter box file. The file will be sent to an agency that will make dubs for several TV station. Not all station are 16×9, therefore I need to make a letterbox. I already edited and rendered my widesreen footage with a 3-2 pulldown.

  Is this the way to make letterbox?

  1. Change the project setting properties Apect ratio to NTSC DV-0.9091?
  2. Render as- Using template NTSC 24p DV (inseting 3-2 Pulldown)

  3. DO NOT HAVE THE CHECKBOX- Stretch Video to fill output frame size (do not letterbox)

  What compression or codec would you recommend using? My video is 10 minutes long. Therefore my .avi files are 1.5 gigs zipped. Quality is important.

  I am using Vegas 6d.
