Letterbox with IO LA ?
I have a dv 50 anamorphc timeline, it plays out perfectly on my 16×9 display. What is the best way to output a letterboxed version to tape. I’d rather not have to export a QT and re-compress back into a new project, can I cut a paste. ?

Nest the sequence into a regular (not anamorhoc) 4:3 timeline and it should adjust for you. If not select the nest, hit return (to load it in the viewer), click open the motion tab and twirl down the distort parameter. Change the ‘aspect’ value to -33.33.
