  Letterbox option not showing up in the Inspector in order to make 2:35 change

  Hey there…

  I highlight all the clips in the timeline, drop the Letterbox effect on them and I see that the aspect ratio has indeed changed a tiny bit. However, unlike the FCPX tutorials I’ve seen online, in the upper right hand area of the FCPX program NO box showing “Letterbox” shows up so I can access the dropdown menu to change it to 2:35.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  I’m running FCPX 10.4.6 on my IMac which is running Mojave 10.14.6.
