Letterbox at 16 / 9 Classic
Hello,
I have footage of which are 4 / 3 letterbox and I would pass them on 16 / 9 Classic.
I know it takes Cropper image but I do not know how we do on AVID.
Is that someone could inform me ?

I’m not in front of the Avid at the moment, but from memory:
Go into the Effects panel,
choose REFORMAT,
Use PAN AND SCAN,
the Source is 4:3,
Change the Target to 16:9Bob’s your Uncle.
