I just read Ki pro manual and was wondering if it can be used as the iohd to ingest and output video to and from FCP ? If yes, I would consider to sell my Iohd to buy a Ki pro…

The KiPro was designed as a capture device for cameras not as a replacement for the IoHD so I would not recommend that workflow. I will say that the Iohd works very well with my KiPros

The way I look at it the KI replaces the IoHD and the Mac during the shoot. But once the files are in the computer for post you need a video card/IoHD, in post the KI is like a deck with a drive instead of tape,
