    Hi Guys,

I was hoping I could pick someones brains over this pluigin for after effects. I’m running a blackmagic SD card and capturing live footage from a sony ex3 camera through it, so this end is all working fine. I was hoping to take this live footage and import it into after effects using lensfeed, but I’ve hit a pretty critical stumbling block, in that it can’t seem to detect the camera feed. Anyone have any ideas or suggestion on this, as I’m all out of ideas now. I’m using lensfeed 1.0.3 if that helps…

    Many thanks in advance,

    Sam

I’m having the same problem with the same setup.|
As far as I can tell, you can only remote view via iLink (Firewire).
I can control and capture via OnLocation and Premiere Pro CS5, but this won’t work over SDI. As soon as you enable iLink on the EX-3, it kills the SDI. (Also SDI carries no deck control, so you need to use the RS422 interface – total pain in the butt.)

As for Lensfeed, I can’t get it to go. I did have it working via iLink on a Sony Z1, but so far, not a thing on the EX3.

If anybody knows more, I would love to hear because Lensfeed is a Godsend for green screen work.
