  • Lens flare and radio wave effect covering each other

Posted by Tom Batt on December 10, 2015 at 8:30 pm

I’m trying to have a lens flare streak across view with radio waves pulsing in the background, but each layer covers the other no matter which I put on top.
Do I have to add the effect to a particular type of layer?
Any help or a tutorial would be much appreciated. I’m using CS6

They should both be applied to solids that are the same size as your composition. The lens flare should be applied to a black solid. The lens flare layer should be set to screen or add blending mode.
