Length of Quicktime Video Changes when I import into Premiere.
Dear Community,
I produced a video for use in academia last year. The video is screened with a transcript that runs alongside it. I was recently asked to change the spelling in one of the names in the credits. Simple, right?
I don’t have the original media files on my drives, so I was going to use the H.264 version of final out put file and create new credits in Premiere.
However, when I executed this, the final film (a 58 minute film) came out 2 seconds shorter. I did not realize this and sent it back to them.
They replied that now their transcript is off, and they need the film in the exact same length.
I went back and imported the final H.264 file into Premiere. When I do so, that file, which is 58:41, turns into a file that is 58:39. Any idea what is going on?
Thanks.
