    I’m sure the set can receive 720P…. it may upconvert it, but it will work OK. Should also work with SD, but I’ve never seen a very good SD signal on any HD monitor… they all look pretty crunched to me.

    its strictly for HD signals so that will work, im using a Sony PVM crt for the simultaneous SD monitoring via my kona LHi so im covered.

    Try and turn off as much image processing as possible. I was looking at the Samsung LED LCD’s recently and the “natural motion” made everything look like CGI animation. Also with all that processing you may find audio sync issues as the image may be delayed by enough to make the direct audio from the Kona out of sync.
