Hi there. I’ve used PS2 for quite some time and just got a brand new job where PS3 is installed. How steep is the learning curve for PS3, how different is it from PS2, and anything(s)in particular I should watch out for? Thanks in advance for any help you all can offer here!

    Hi
This is not a definitive answer but the main changes are those relating to video. The company should have a CD with a readme file of the new things in CS3 or you can find it online at Adobe.com.

I found a speed improvement over CS2 and automation features for rotoscoping a video sequence, which I have yet to use.

Other posters can tell you more.

Thanks Del–I’ll check out the ReadMe. I had no idea that PS3 dealt with video–I’m used to AE being the go-to.

    take care-

Photoshop for VIdeo book covers CS3 in depth

Also have several tutorials in Photoshop for Video podcast (free on Adobe TV).

    Lots of video specific features.
