    Hey Guys,

Anyone have any recommendations for a 17 or 19 inch lcd? I’ve heard CRT is much more accurate for video editing, but unfortunetly I don’t really have the space. Any tips or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Panasonic BT-LH1700W.

Good luck trying to find a Sony PVM series CRT – they are discontinued.

    Bob,
Is it possible to display interlaced? Is it possible to detect field dominance problems?
(there is NO mentioning of the word “interlace” in the brochure…)

The Panasonic BT-LH is the ONLY series of LCD monitors that I am aware of that displays interlaced video properly. This is the key difference between this LCD and those from other manufacturers. The expensive Teranex ClearView will also handle interlaced video properly, but this is probably out of the price range of this guy.
