March 2, 2009 at 8:59 pmThat’s the funniest post topic I’ve seen in a while, since you’re asking about such a cheese-dog deluxe effect. You have a good sense of humor.
There’s a page peel effect in FCP’s transitions and several 3rd party versions. Don’t know where to send you though, sorry…
Have a wonderful day.

March 2, 2009 at 11:50 pmhere’s the thing i’m not a lazy/slacker editor but i’m looking for an easy way to get the page peel to bring a graphic ON screen rather than just OFF, which is what the page peel transition in final cut does. Seems to me in older versions you used to be able to do both. I’m calling myself a lazy/slacker because a few people were calling an AVID guy a lazy editor ’cause he didn’t have time to read the 3000 page manual. I’m trying to animate a “window cling” for a client on a non-profit budget. Thanks!

March 3, 2009 at 3:22 amExport the page peel as a QT, import it and reverse it.

March 3, 2009 at 6:48 pmfrom one andy to another… i love you man! When did they hide that little button there? thank you. Here’s an aside: why move that to a microscopic button and replace it with a button/check box to allows you to turn off the effect? If you don’t want the effect don’t use it. Maybe i’m missing something here. Anyway many thanks for pointing this out.
