Layers on/off with Rigs
Hi,
is there any way I could rig the on an off button of a layer. For Example: I got an animation effect layer like a text layer. With a check box it would be the easiest way to activate and deactivate such an effect.

I don’t know if it can be done with a check box, but you can definately do it with a drop-down menu. Just make two states one with opacity 100% and one with opacity 0% and then use the drop-down to switch between them.

You can do it with any kind of widget – the key as Anders pointed out is that you use Opacity to “turn off’ and “turn on” the layer(s).
