  • Layered Titles – Moving in Premeire 7?

Hi! Brand new to the world of video editing. I just bought Premiere 7 and am exploring all that it has to offer (a lot for a novice like me). Before this, I had Windows Moive Maker and one of the titles that was offered was called, “Moving titles, layered.” It was a really nice option that allowed your titles to have 3 layers: (1) Layer #1 – title is static imposed on top of Layers #2 and #3; (2) Layer #2 – underneath Layer #1 flying in from the left; and (3) Layer #3 – underneath Layer #1 flying in from the right. Question – Is there anything similar to this in Premiere 7? I tried creating one by adding several new titles on top of one another, but it looked pretty lame. Any thoughts? – Thanks

You could create a layered Photoshop file and animate the layers individually in PPro.

You will find links to many free tutorials in the PremiereProPedia that will quickly show you how things are done in Premiere Pro.
