    Here’s a video of what’s going on:

So, since applying the “3D Layer Deformer” effect the image gets warped. It returns to normal as I drag the pin on the top of the timeline around but once I let go or render out the video it becomes warped again. The image is an Illustrator file. This has happened on other Illustrator images but to a lesser extent so I know the Illustrator file isn’t corrupted.

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

[Anthony Owens] “So, since applying the “3D Layer Deformer” effect the image gets warped.”

Isn’t that what the plugin is supposed to do?

The video doesn’t show all the controls — are you sure something isn’t accidentally set off its default?

Are you running the latest version of BCC? I just updated BCC7 3D Objects here today, and I’m now running 7.0.5.166.

Finally, there’s a Boris FX forum [link] here, frequented by Boris Yamnitsky himself — you might get more targeted advice there.
