Layer refuses to render with Alpha
I have a very simple composition. 2 layers with exactly the same settings. One is a graphic with a hole in the centre and one is a white shape that I will use as a key in FCP. I export the graphic layer with an Alpha and it works perfectly. I switch off the graphic layer and turn on the white shape layer and export it with the exact same settings as the graphic layer and it comes out with the background of the comp, whether it’s visible or not in the comp.
To the best of my knowledge both layers have the exact same settings and are being exported with the exact same settings.
Anyone have this problem before?
I’m running CS3, OS 10.5.6 on a dual core 2.66 GHz Intel.
