Hey guys, I usually do my masking in After Effects, but was interested if it’s possible to do within Premiere as the project I’m working on has a lot of masking, but it’s fairly simple, no motion tracking on a static camera. Basically a couple subjects are side by side, not over lapping, and not moving. I’d like to isolate a subject, through masking. The background they are against is one color and fills the whole frame and there’s enough space between the actors that I don’t even need that precise of a mask. It’s probably obvious I’m not incredible good at this, but usually I would link it in After Effects and use the pen tool. Anyway I can just do this in Premiere to save time!?
