    Layer Mapping

    I just bought a model of a shirt from Turbo Squid. It imported into 3D Invigorator just fine but when I apply a layer map, it places ring around the arms of the shirt. Actually, where the arm meets the body of the shirt. I applied the same layer map in Lightwave and it looks clean there. I tried to export out of Lightwave but I still get the rings when I apply a layer map in 3d Invigorator. Can anyone help me with this problem or does anyone have any suggestions?

    Hi Greg,

    Invigorator relies on UV mapping coordinates which are generated during creation of the model itself. Without UV coordinates, Invigorator won’t know how to map the layermap to the object. Invigorator does not yet support other kinds of mapping like spherical.

    Is there a way, in Lightwave, to change the UV map to one that Invigorator can understand?
