Launching Red in FCP 6.0.2
I am a new Red user and I’ve had some difficulty launching Red from Final Cut Pro (6.0.2) – it works sometimes with filters but not at all with transitions. Is there something in the preferences of either Red or FCP that will allow this to happen?
My system is a G5 2.5 Ghz, FCP 6.0.2, Red 4.3.1, Quicktime 7.3

Hi Dan,
RED should be working 100 percent for you with the configuration that you are using. What happens when you click on the banner to enter the RED UI? What should happen is that you have to wait for a few seconds and then the RED UI should appear. There is one caveat though – in order for the RED UI to appear, you must be parked over one of the frames of the transition. Please give that a shot and let me know if it helps.
