Thought I’d share my latest labor of love on Vegas with the group. It’s a simple documentary of the bands playing at Centrum on the 4th. It was fun. Vegas allowed me to crank it out extremely quickly.

    Hey,

I really enjoyed the video. The recordings of the band on stage was amazing. Really great quality sir!

Thanks Joshua. It always helps to be locked down on a tripod (G). I’ll be updating the video with board fed audio later this week. But the sound off the shotgun was ‘good enough’ for now.

Well I look forward to that vid as well! If you don’t mind me asking, could you give me a quick description of what render settings you used in Sony Vegas? I ask because I am trying to render a recording of a church sermon and it is similar in length as the project you posted.

    Thanks,

    Joshua

Josh, sorry I didn’t get back to you yesterday, I was out on a shoot, and then was editing until now. The settings I rendered that video out in was 1280×720 at 30p and 8 Mbps to keep the size reasonable.

No problem Al…I appreciate your help. Seems my laptop is inadequate to run Sony Vegas 10 so I’m on hiatus until I can get me fast workstation.

I feel like I’m disabled (no offense to those who are) because I need to finish my friend’s project but I do not have the time to render 3 min segments of a 30+ min clip and then combine those clips. It’d take me three weeks with my work schedule!
