Lateral jitter in FCP from AFX movie
i have this chronic problem where vertical lines (like the sides of a rectangle) made to move laterally (left to right or vice versa) across the screen in after effects, look jittery when i bring the movie into Final Cut. I’ve tried both the DV/DVC codec and the animation codec from aftereffects, but there seems to be no difference. Motion blur doesn’t help the problem either. i hope someone can help.

Are you field rendering in the right order?

i’ve tried both upper and lower fields first. Both made it look worse than when i had no field designation. What the hell am i missing here?
