    All,

I do not know why but when I export a 1 hour 45 min play that I filmed for my high school the file ends up as 25GB. That is an incredibly large file. There has to be a way that I can export the file so that it is not that large. I have never had this issue before. If it helps my awesome school only has Avid Xpress Pro HD. By the way, the play was shot using a Canon GL2 so it is SD and not HD. Please help, I am running out of time to get the play onto a DVD.

    Thanks,
    Steve

What codec are you exporting as when doing so? And what size raster? All of that affects size and quality of exported video file.

Well, DV is 13GB/hour. 1.75 hours, that would be 25GB. That sounds right.

Need it smaller? Use Sorenson to compress to h.264…or whatever format you need.
