    Heya

I’m currently using the HP DV9230US (bought it at Circuit City the other week for about $1399). It’s got an Intel Core 2 Duo 1.6Ghz, a GeForce 7600 with 256mb of vram, 2gb of ram, a 200 gb drive, and a dual layer burner. 17″ screen, too. All in all, pretty sweet. I’ve been using Premiere Pro and AE 7 Pro on it now for about two weeks with no problems running both at the same time and doing dynamic linking and stuff. It’s an OK laptop to buy, and for the price it can’t be beat. The only drawback is the limited HDD space, but oh well.

    Hope this helps,
    A.H.
