Lanczos Scaling
Lanczos Scaling in NUKE yields accurate down scale results. 4k -> 2k image still sharp.
AE could sure use something comparable as it’s native scaling produces some mixed results.
Anyone out there crack this nut? Have an alternative method?

You can try using plugins or scripts such as Detail-Preserving Upscale or Super Scale to get clearer results when changing the scale. You can also experiment with different built-in scaling options, such as interpolation method and quality settings
