Lags unbearably slow on everything I click on my nearly completed project. All my other projects work fine.
This is Premiere Pro CS6
So yeah, on the timeline, it’s the deal where the audio runs, but it freezes on one frame for about five seconds, before jumping to another frame, where it also freezes, etc. etc. trying and failing to keep up.
It’s a six minute video and takes an hour to render, and the whole thing turns red every time I do anything on the timeline, seems like.
When I try to color correct, there’s a huge lag as well when I try to apply changes. The RGB gauges after I obviously make changes on the video.

If it’s a complicated sequence then 4GB RAM might not be enough.
You say it works fine on other sequences. What are the differences? Do you have more effects, layer of video or large stills etc? What is the video codec of your source material as some need more processing than others. If you create a new sequence in the project and just add one clip, does that play back OK?
Sometimes Premiere can be a bit sticky when scrubbing through but it shouldn’t be as bad as you’re experiencing.

If simular project work fine
Make new project and import the old one into this new one.———————————————–
