    Hey Guys,
    Anyone else experience this?
You go to move a clip (nudge or drag) When you let go of the mouse it clicks into place about 4 seconds later.
This is infuriating. I am running a brand new top of the range iMAC with a USB3 Lacie RAID and working with prores media.
Puzzling but It is common amongst 2 of the computers here so it must be a software issue.
    Anyone else come across this?

    Computer specs:

    iMAC 3.5GHz i7
    32 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4096 MB
Running: Adobe Premiere Pro CC v8.0 Single Barrel.

no, not hearing about that. your specs look good, so don’t know why you would be having that problem. What OS are you using? If you’re using CUDA for your Premire Pro GPU, is it updated to the latest (6.0.54)?

    OS X 10.9.4
    Using CUDA Driver Version: 6.0.54

The footage is from the new Arri Amira (auto added LUT) Maybe this is why?
I’m not positive tho as its doing it to some C300 footage also..

    Anyone else experiencing timeline lag?

It could be related to the Amira footage. I haven’t personally played with any yet. You can bring down the playback resolution in the source and program monitor to see if that improves the overall performance? Also, if the Amira files are heavy, then it becomes important that your storage is up to the task…
