Lacie Disk Seems to go to sleep
hi everyone,
I have a Lacie d2 Big disk extreme 500 gig drive. everytime i stop working on the computer and then come back, the beach ball comes on and i have to wait for it to load for a while. it almost seems like the disk is going to sleep or something. it doesnt happen if i have footage on my system drive so i know its something to do with the lacie.
any ideas??thank you in advance

Open System Prefrences on your Mac and click the “Energy Savings” button. There is a box you can un-check that says “Put harddrives to sleep when possible” or something like that. That should do it.
