I just saw that Lacie released drivers themselves which makes USB 3.0 possible on MACs.
Including the Express34 cards for MacBooks.
Any idea BlackMagic Support, if this brings the Pocket UltraScope closer to be used on MacBook Pro’s?

My guess is the Express 34 card and slot won’t handle the Intensity Shuttle’s required bandwidth.

Maybe for 3G SDI, as HD-SDI passes through uncompressed with my Matrox MXO2.
In that case they should limit it that it cannot visualize 3G-HDI?
At least 95% of the cases SD-SDI and HD-SDI is used now-a-days anyway.
It would be so cool to have that functionality on our MacBooks Pro’s.

Blackmagic is very specific on the hardware needed for their products, at least for the Intensity Shuttle. I would research their site and the required hardware needed for the capture device your looking at using. Danny Hays
