KVM Switch w/Dual Monitor out

What do you mean by 4 inputs and 4 outputs? This sounds more like matrix routing than a KVM.

How many dual-monitor systems do you need to connect to a single set of displays? What signals?

from what I’m Told with need 4 Avid Towers going into the Switch and up to 8 Monitors go out into rooms.

It doesn’t just sound like you want a KVM — you also need extension from the machine rooms to the edit rooms.

It may get complicated quickly.

You have 4 Avid towers (A, B, C & D), all of them have dual outputs.
You have 4 rooms (edit 1, edit 2, edit 3 and edit 4).

Do you want the ability to send Avid A (both displays) to any edit room ( 1,2,3 or 4) ?

Do you simply need to to extend the DVI cables from the machine room to the edit rooms; Avid A to edit 1 and Avid B to edit 2, etc. ?
