kona3 23.98 to dbeta is 3:13 to long
I have a 49 min program on a 23.98 timeline. When I edit to tape through a kona 3 the program ends 3:13 later than 49mins. Here are some particulars:
23.98 timeline
kona sdi primary 1080i29.97
kona sdi secondary 525i29.97kona secondary to dbeta deck sdi
audio in from aes/ebu 4 channelsgen set to freerun
no other things connected from nle(fcp) to dbetaI have spoke to aja support (awesome support team) and have gone though some of it and am just doing another output to see if it works, but does anyone have any other ideas and how to test them??

Are you going 29.97 drop or non drop? Have you accounted for this?

Operator error –
JG is correct.
23.98 is always NON Drop,
29.97 is usually drop frame(always in SD) in the USgary adcock

Yup…you have to plan for this. Find out what your drop frame deliverable is, then convert that into non-drop frame time…cut to that time.
