[Saddler] “So, I gave up and uninstalled to reinstall version 1.2.2, but it tells me there’s nothing to install!

Sure would be nice to be able to use my KONA2 … SOON!”

Did you think to do an UNINSTALL???
You cannot run an older version of an installer without doing an uninstall first…

Make it a habit to always uninstall prior to installing a new driver.

Just to get this straight… I have not yet upgraded from 1.2.2. Is it advisable to uninstall 1.2.2 and then install the (corrected) version of 2?

I recommend it only if you are simultaneously doing a system upgrade or if you are trying to install and older version over a newer version of the software (say v4 over a v5)

Same thing happened with me even after runnin the Uninstall. The only thing that got the V1.1.2 installer going again was finding the receipt file left by the previous V2 install and getting rid of it. (which Unistall did not do). Restarted and ran the 1.1.2 again. I’m up and running again, and will wait with the V2 experimentation until this project is out.
