Kona LSe in the PCIe 1x Slot?
Anybody know if the Kona LSe will work in the PCIe 1x slot? It’s bandwidth should be high enough at 250 MB/s. I’m about to get a new Hard Drive System with an eSata card and need to use the 4x slot. Using the first Gen Mac Pro with PCIe 1.0. Looked on the AJA site and suggested the 4x slot but for the LHe nothing for the LSe.

it must be in a x4 slot.
For your first generation MAC, simply go into Expansion Slot Utility and make the slots in this order –
x16
x1
x4
x4use slot 3 and slot 4 for your AJA card and eSATA card.
If you have all three slots in use, change the slots to this order – it works (I’ve done it) –
