Two Brand new Mac Pro Towers with same issue – AJA Kona LHi cards loaded into slot 4 (can only install into slot 4 because of the 2x ATI Radeon HD 5770 graphics cards loaded)

When playing back 1920x1080i video footage thru Kona card – FCP crashes with Problem Report staying issue with “AJAVideoOutput plugin”

I have trashed preferences – rebuilt permissions.

Uninstalled AJA Drivers and reinstalled drivers.

Can’t play back anything without FCP crashing on me.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Mac Pro – OSX 10.6.7 – 2 x 2.93 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon – 32 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 – FCP 7.0.3

    This is a GUESS:
on each machine try using one display card instead of the two, and consider the two display monitors (or utter outputs) to be fed by, as, one fed by the display card, and the other, fed by the LHi. It sounds lopsided but seems to me I have heard it as correct, at least for editing. Since it is a guess, go back if it is wrong.

FCP does not like 2 graphics cards.

That being said, try installing the NDD version of the drivers.
