Kona LH and Analog audio out…HOT!
I have been monitoring audio from the speaker jack on the G5 because when I try using the ANALOG OUT XLRs into my Tascam FW1405, the audio is REALLY HOT. I mean, I have the TRIM knobs turned all the way down, and I still get RED peak indicator lights, and my audio is not going over -12db.
How do I adjust the audio so that it isn’t so hot? or can I?

Ah…I think I just solved my own issue. I see that the XLR inputs on the Tascam are MIC inputs…meant to be a little hot. I’ll have to get XLR to large phono adapters and see what that does.
