    Kona IO HD SDI from AJ-HD150 or 1200A by firewire–which?

    Can capture from either Panasonic 1200A by fire wire, or from AJ-HD150 from HD SDI thru
    Kona I/O. Usually do the 1200A route, but need to output best quality possible frame grabs,
    and wondering if there’s a noticeable/visible quality diff between the two.

    File size not an issue.

    yes there is a sizable difference between a frame grab from a uncompressed capture and a firewire capture.

    the uncompressed will look and reproduce better.
