I read the release notes. I read about the RED codec stuff, and 2K workflow stuff. Now I have a headache. I thought I understood everything. Now I realize, I understand nothing.

2k work flow? I thought you were a systems integrator? are your clients requiring you to be a post supervisor/online editor too?
probably, as my clients now want me to be a sound mixer and motion graphics artist in addition to everything else. the way things are going i might as well brush up on my airplane pilot and dry cleaning skills too…Paul Provost

probably, as my clients now want me to be a sound mixer and motion graphics artist”Creative editor, online editor, post supervisor, pre-production tech consultant, sound mixer, still graphics design, motion graphics design, writer, producer, temp voice over, systems integrator, IT guy, web administrator, trafficking, client relations, and sometimes a moving guy and a secretary…
Those all fit in my job description. It’s kind of pathetic.

As for me – if it doesn’t work, ITS MY FAULT. Every Apple bug is MY fault personally. This is why I get hysterial with you guys all the time – I can’t yell back at my clients ! I have actually had clients say to me (when I cower back and say “it’s an AJA bug that is being fixed”) – “well, you get them in here RIGHT NOW and have them fix this !”.
