    Hi,

With a kona 3 card installed and set to SD SDI o/p viewed on a stand alone monitor, during playback of either the source clip or the sequence is it normal that the FCP source and playback monitors don’t update? All I get is playback video on the external monitor, the fcp windows don’t show moving video at all.

Any ideas? Is my Kona 3 card playing up?

    Thanks in advance,

    Dom.

    no it is not
your setup is not correct !!!
make sure to use an easy set up and make sure you have your video out set to all frames.

It sounds like you have “Mirror video on the desktop” checked off in the AV settings. Look through the tabs in the AV settings to check, & turn it back on.
