Kona 3 Dual Link 444 is purple in FCP
Trying to digitize 444 RBG from HDCAM-SR. Final Cut is coming up with a picture – but it’s washed purple.
I’ve confirmed the 444 coming out of the deck is correct: plugged it into a dual-link 444 compatible monitor.
I’ve got Dual Link selected in AJA control panel. Final Cut is looking for 10-bit RGB. I remember back in the day there was a specific 444 option in the capture settings, but it doesn’t seem to exist in the 6.0.3 drivers.

for some reason “enable custom luts” was on in the Control Panel.

I’m not in front of a Kona 3 right now, but you need to change the input to dual link in the AJA control panel. Try right clicking on the input, does that allow you to select dual link?

the 4:4:4 setups are NOT part of the base install- you need to RE- install the driver and select the appropriate setups for your needs.
