Just installed Tiger and Final Cut 5, reinstalled the Kona 2 drivers. I didn’t do anything crazy with it yet, but it still plays uncompressed footage, cinewave files, and dv footage perfectly. The control panel still works (so does the IO control panel.) And here’s some news….

DV footage in an uncompressed sequence playing in realtime. Booyeah. You have to turn on unlimited RT and you get the orange bar, but I bet a driver could fix it. It plays back perfectly, although if you put any filters on it drops frames after a few seconds. I bet AJA will get this working perfectly really soon.

I’ll keep you guys updated of any problems or surprises I find.

Thanks for the info, I to am a CineWaver, most of my projects have both Beta SP and DV footage in them, this is very comforting news.

    Thanks again,
    Tim
