Hi I have a Dual G5 1.8 and I can get either a Kona 2 or Kona LH for about the same price, which one should I get and why.

Basically I will be using it for HDV editing in DVCProHD format, some SD uncompressed projects from time to time (I really need to be able to output only 1 stream of SD 10bit uncompressed)

Also, can I capture HDV via RGB analog into LH to DVCProHD?? This way I wold not need a converter for the time being.

Lots of questions so thank you in advance for any advices,

    JJ

the LH will allow you to bring in the analog HD right into the board – the Kona 2 will require a converter. The LH is the right choice for you, at this time.

The LH has balanced analog audio I/O. I think you’d be quite happy with it.
