    Hello Cow-ers:

Hooking up my Kona 2 and K-Box — wondering if I can use the video harness cable (with all the BNC ends on it) to hook into my patchbay, and only use the audio cable (the blue ended cable) to utilize the RCA audio outs on the K-Box.

Anyone had success with this setup, or do I have to use all K-Box, or all BNC harness hookups?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best, JIM.

Last I checked, the Kona2 and Kbox do not have standard A/V cables, everything is in the integrated cable to the BoB. So you want to only hook up half the BoB?

Yes, that’s exactly right. Specifically, the audio portion…

Yes, you have to use one or the other. The black cable that came with the KBox (and connects the Kona card to the back of the KBox) carries everything but the SDI in and outs.
